Configure Account Fields in Duplicate Account Management
Fields have a big impact on the duplicate account experience for constituents and staff alike. Fields are used in several ways:
- as search parameters,
- to determine if an account is a potential duplicate, and
- to present data about potential duplicate accounts.
To make these changes, you need to know how to modify field sets.
Configure the Fields Used in Staff View
You can independently change what fields show up in Step 1 and/or Step 2 of the person account duplicate merge process.
- Create one (or two) Account field sets that contain the field(s) you want to display in each step.
- From Setup | Installed Packages, locate Nimble AMS and click Configure.
- Under General Settings, to change the fields displayed in:
- Step 1. Select the records to merge, click Merge Account Additional Select Fields and select the Account field set you created earlier.
- Step 2. Select the values to retain, click Merge Account Additional Compare Fields and select the Account field set you created earlier
Click Save.
Configure the Fields Used in Community Hub
As an administrator, you can independently modify which Account fields are used for duplicate management in various Community Hub pages by updating the Account field sets specified in the table below.
