GL Override/Split Revenue

The GL Override/Split Revenue functionality enables Nimble AMS to support complex accounting structures by allowing associations to distribute revenue from a single product or product variant across up to five different General Ledger (GL) accounts. This ensures that income is accurately tracked across departments or business units automatically, eliminating the need for manual reclassifications. 

Key Benefits 

• Proportional Allocation: Revenue is split based on defined percentages, ensuring the distribution remains consistent even when discounts, coupons, or manual price overrides are applied. 

• Granular Control: Organizations can configure unique revenue splits at the individual Product Variant level, allowing for different accounting rules within the same product family. 

• Financial Integrity: Built-in validation prevents configuration errors by requiring that all splits total exactly 100.00% before a record can be saved. 

• Audit-Ready Transparency: The system automatically generates detailed GL transactions for every split, providing a clear and permanent audit trail for financial reporting. 

• Data Protection: To maintain historical integrity, the system prevents the deletion or deactivation of any GL Account currently linked to an active Revenue GL Override record.
